At Thrive we provide access to the iTOL Accredited Training & Qualifications for Foster Carers.
As a newly qualified foster carer or an experienced approved carer, you will have the opportunity to join a new group of foster carers who are committed to leading the way in excellence.
We are dedicated to offering you the chance to expand your knowledge and skills through the National Foster Carers Qualifications (NFCQ), which is a comprehensive foundation course in fostering.
Additionally, we provide a diverse training program, along with access to regular local workshops and support groups.
As a Thrive Fostering Foster Carer, we understand the importance of having the right protection when it’s needed. Some organizations may provide only a basic level of protection, which may not fully support you in cases of allegations or when legal assistance is required. These basic protections often do not adequately represent you as a foster carer.
While Thrive Fostering is committed to supporting you at every step of your journey, we strongly encourage all our foster carers to join the National Union of Professional Foster Carers (NUPFC). Membership provides access to independent advice when necessary.
What does the NUPFC, the foster carers’ trade union, offer?
At Thrive, we offer you a confidential and independent support network through FosterWiki. As a premium member, you will have 24/7 access to over 180 articles on fostering and regular newsletters keeping you up to date with the fostering sector.
Additionally, you can utilise the FosterWiki Premium Support email service and take advantage of the personalised training available exclusively for Premium Members.
